When we planned Gillian & Matt’s sunrise session at Lookout Mountain, we were expecting sweeping Colorado views and pastel skies. Instead, we were greeted by a wall of fog thick enough to hide the horizon. Rather than call it, we leaned all the way in. With some creative backlighting and their easy chemistry, the fog turned into a glowing backdrop that felt straight out of a movie.
As a Colorado wedding and couples photographer, these are the moments I live for, when the weather throws us a curveball and we still create something timeless and romantic.
