Manny is a U.S. Army Veteran, former educator, and the founder of both Valr Studios and Valkyrie Visions. With over two decades of experience behind a camera, he brings a disciplined approach to creative storytelling, balancing technical precision with a deep respect for the craft.

Known for his calm presence and clear direction, Manny specializes in portraiture that feels both intentional and impactful. Whether working with individuals, couples, or brands, his focus is always on delivering work that reflects professionalism, personality, and purpose.

PAOLA

Co-Owner, Associate Photographer

With a background in education and early roots in photojournalism, Paola brings empathy, curiosity, and a storyteller’s eye to every session. Though she once set photography aside, her passion never left, evident in the way she’s captured her own life and travels through the years.

Today, she serves as an associate photographer, specializing in maternity, family, and children’s portraits. Her sessions are warm, thoughtful, and centered on the connection between people and the moments that shape them.

This brand was born from more than a love for photography. It’s rooted in the legacy of those who served and those we’ve lost.

Miguel was a soldier, a brother, and one of the fiercest souls we’ve known. His memory is woven into the very name of this brand: Valkyrie Visions inspired by Norse mythology, where Valkyries choose the strongest warriors to enter Valhalla. We created this space to honor the fallen, uplift the living, and tell stories that deserve to be remembered.

That’s why we’re proud to offer special services for veterans and military families, including discounted portrait sessions and projects that elevate their voices and their work.
