I'm Manny, The heart and lens behind Valr Studios Photography.

When I was a high school senior, I spent my first paycheck (after pizza, of course) on a camera. Was it fancy? Not even close but it was mine. I’ve been photographing life for 20+ years, but some of the most important moments in my life were the ones I didn’t photograph. Moments I chose to live in, instead. That’s what I give you: the space to be present, while I take care of preserving the feeling of it all.

A quick rundown on me

Traveling is my jam.
I love creating; writing, photography... and yes, I still build Legos (now with an adult budget).
I listen to all kinds of music but rock and hip-hop are my go to.
Iraq combat veteran and a high school teaching combat veteran too. Survived both!
I’m fueled by dad jokes.
I’m a nerd, I love fantasy & sci-fi.
Firm believer that dreams don’t just happen, you will them into existence.
