YOUR VISION. RELIABLE COVERAGE.

Need a Second Shooter?

Hey, I’m Manny,

I’m a Colorado Springs wedding photographer, Army veteran, former teacher, dad, occasional dork, and the kind of person who can talk business for an unreasonable amount of time without realizing everyone else has moved on.

When I join another photographer’s team, I understand whose name is attached to the experience. I’m there to support your approach, take care of your couple, and make your day easier, not turn the reception into a networking event.

I’m comfortable taking direction, working independently, and reading the room when plans inevitably become more of a suggestion. I’ll photograph with intention, help wherever I’m useful, and bring the same calm, observant energy that defines my own work.

Because strong coverage matters. But so does spending the day with someone you actually enjoy being around.

What You Can Expect

Working With Us

I’m Good With The Guys

I know I’ll likely spend a good part of the morning with the groom and groomsmen (but we’re also LGTBQ+ friendly). That works for me. I’m good at disarming people, keeping things relaxed, and helping men look polished, confident, and genuinely good in front of the camera.

Flash, Natural Light, Whatever the Day Needs

My own work includes a signature off-camera flash look, but candid moments rarely wait for a light stand. I’m comfortable working with natural light, direct flash, and off-camera flash without fumbling through E-TTL and hoping the camera figures it out for me.

Your Coverage Comes First

I’m not second shooting to build my portfolio. I’m there to support yours. That could mean covering cocktail hour while you handle portraits, holding a light stand to get the feathering right, or jumping into a portrait gauntlet so we can give the couple more variety without eating up their entire day.

Different Angles. Actually Different.

I’ll never photograph family formals from over your shoulder and leave half the group looking at the wrong camera. My job is to create real variety, not a second version of the same frame. That may mean climbing a flight or two of stairs for a higher perspective, moving across the room for a cleaner composition, or stepping into a slightly questionable spot to try something more experimental. If I’m pressing the shutter, it should give you something you did not already have or a sense of security when the moments matter.
